What exactly does an Askaway REACT coaching plan include?

An Askaway REACT coaching plan includes 5 services:

– An online support (personalised coaching service): we help you book and organise your practice sessions, access and use your materials in your private folder and in particular, we motivate and support you in your effort!

– The tailored material packs: you will regularly receive articles, listening exercises, references, etc., related to your needs and interests.

– The oral and written practice sessions: you will be able to interact with a native coach.

– The post-session feedback: a brief summary of the main language points covered in the session and sent to you following your online practice session.

– The progress report: after every 4 sessions, you will receive an assessment of your errors and language needs in order to continue progressing in the right direction. See example.

How can I contract an Askaway service?

– First you need to contact us via the online informative chat or by filling out the advice form on askaway.es.

– Once you have chosen your service, you need to place your order by replying to the email received or via the online chat. We will then send you an email with your order details and the payment details.

– Once the payment is received, an email will be sent to you with your Askaway
username and password (if it’s your first purchase) along with the receipt or invoice.

May I cancel a practice session and recover it later?

All the plans are monthly services. If you cancel a session, you will have to recover it in the same contracted month.

The REACT and EXAM plans have a cancellation policy:
4 hours’ notice:
More than 4 hours in advance >you can reorganise the online practice session within the same month.
Less than 4 hours in advance >the online practice session is deducted from your credit.

However, the EXECUTIVE plans don’t have any cancellation policy. You can cancel your practice session at any time without discounting your credit. Askaway will help you reorganise your next session within the same month.

How can I book a practice session?

– The bookings for each practice sessions are done through our online informative chat on our website.

– 24hrs before the booked session you will receive a reminder email.

– 4hrs before the booked session you will receive another reminder email with your corresponding Askaway coach’s Skype username.

What is the content of a practice session?

In these sessions, you will discuss the topics studied in the material pack, subjects of your choice or those best suited to your interests and needs in order to motivate you and encourage concentration.

What does the tailored material pack sent to my private folder consist of?

It consists of press articles, listening exercises, videos, grammar references, technical texts, etc., tailored to the interests and needs of each user.

Where can I find my private folder?

In your “my account” section on askaway.es. Once you have contracted your Askaway service, an email will be sent to you with your Askaway username and password (if it’s your first purchase). Log in and access your private Askaway folder.

How do I contact the Askaway coach to initiate the practice session?

– 4hrs before the booked session you will receive a reminder email with your corresponding Askaway coach’s Skype username.

– Access your private folder to connect to Skype or directly via the Skype app or website and, with your own Skype account, connect with the coach.

– If it is the first time you connect with this coach, you will have to previously invite him/her to be added to your Skype contacts.

– Connect with your coach at the agreed time.

Do I need to have a Skype account?

Yes, you do. It is necessary and free.

What is the difference between the REACT, EXAM and EXECUTIVE plans?

REACT is a coaching plan focused on authentic language practice and includes 5 services:

EXAM is a flexible action plan developed by experts in exam preparation (internationally recognized ones such as Cambridge) and includes 6 services:

EXECUTIVE is a complete VIP coaching plan heavily focused on the business environment and includes 7 services:

6)the direct support line and
7)the maximum time flexibility

How does the Askaway Helpline service work?

Askaway Helpline is a form of direct support (via messaging) that allows you to ask for help when writing or reading a text in a foreign language.

How many times can I use my Askaway Helpline?

Askaway Helpline has no limited number of queries. We will only answer questions about vocabulary, phrasal structures and expressions composed of a few words, part of a sentence or of a text, but not the entire text. Neither vocabulary lists, nor entire texts will be accepted. For these Askaway Helpline extra needs to be contracted.

Can I order a translation from Askaway Helpline?

No, this is not a translation service.

Can I send an entire text to be corrected?

Askaway Helpline extra will answer requests regarding entire texts correction and / or more voluminous texts, e.g. presentations, reports, emails, CVs, letters, menus, web page, etc. A price and delivery estimation will be provided.

How does Askaway Helpline Extra’s credit system work?

– To purchase Askaway Helpline extra credits, you need to have registered with the Askaway Helpline.

– Once you have accepted the Askaway Helpline Extra estimated delivery and price, the amount will be deducted from your credits when you have received the corrected work.

How can I contract Askaway Helpline and/or buy credits?

– Choose the service by replying to the email received or directly via the online informative chat.

– To contract the service, you will receive an email with the details of your order and the payment details.

– Once the payment is received, an email will be sent to you with your Askaway username and password (if it’s your first purchase) along with the receipt or invoice.

– The Askaway Helpline fee is monthly (30 days). You can arrange an automatic renewal or pay monthly.

– To purchase Askaway Helpline extra credits, you need to have registered with the Askaway Helpline.

How can I register to an Askaway Immersion activity?

– Choose the activity by replying to the estimation or directly via the online informative chat.

– To contract the service, you will receive an email with the details of your order and the payment details.

– Once the payment is received, an email of confirmation will be sent to you along with the receipt or invoice.

– The activities can only be booked up to 3 days (maximum) before the day offered or agreed.

Can I suggest an Immersion activity?

Yes, this is an “on demand” or “according to offer” service. Askaway takes into account any suggestion, personal request and puts together an estimation of service. Askaway also regularly offers on its website group activities and meetings. See offers
